Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are pleased to invite you to our 10th Jubilee GAMBIT Seminar to be held at the Gdansk University of Technology, 3-4 April 2014. First organised in 1996, the GAMBIT Seminar has since become a biennial event attracting numerous experts from Poland and abroad who come to share their knowledge and experience on ways to solve the problems of risk of death and injury in road traffic. The delegates represent a wide range of road safety professionals from government bodies, local authorities, the private sector, media and science - specialists from Poland and abroad.

This year's jubilee seminar will feature a special programme: 3 April, Thursday will start with a Jubilee Open Plenary Session with keynote speakers including professor Ryszard Krystek, research director of the Motor Transport Institute, Warsaw, Mr. Maciej Mosiej - director of the Secretariat of the National Road Safety Council. We will also welcome foreign experts: Josef Mikulik from Czech Republic, Chris Lines from United Kingdom and a representative of European Transport Safety Council (the name will be confirmed) who will present the latest road safety policy orientations. Day one of the seminar will end with a formal dinner in the Fahrenheit Courtyard, Main Building of the Gdansk University of Technology. Day two will be dedicated to Scientific Workshops.

Marking the Jubilee GAMBIT Seminar will be a special exhibition to give an overview of the past nine seminars. We hope that regular visitors will enjoy this trip down memory lane and the newcomers will be encouraged to visit us again.
