You are kindly invited to the GAMBIT International Seminar at the Gdansk University of Technology on 22-23 April 2010. The Seminar is themed “Poland’s Road Safety in the Run-Up to the EU’s New Transport Policy”. The speakers will include experts from Poland and  abroad presenting the EU’s transport policy and how it is implemented by member states.  

Our main focus will be on the progress Poland is making in implementing the European Union‘s road safety management directive and on the Polish contribution to the EuroRAP project. We will be discussing Poland’s efforts to establish the National Road Safety Observatory and regional observatories, a concept developed by the SafetyNET project. There will be a session on the results of ZEUS Integrated System of Transport Safety, a research project led by the Gdansk University of Technology due to finish in April 2010.
